This is a completed 1" standing seam panel. The following illustrations and steps will describe how to form this detail on a brake.
Place the metal on the brake with the colored side facing up. Leave 3/8" on the apron. Bend the apron up 90 degrees and release.
Pull the material out another 1-1/16" and clamp down. Bend the apron 90 degrees and release.
Pull the panel out, flip it over and insert so the colored side is face down on the brake. Now leave 3/8" of the other end sticking out on the apron. Clamp down, bend 90 degrees and release.
Pull the panel out another 1/2" and clamp down. Bend the apron 90 degrees and release.
Now the final bend can be made. Flip the panel over.
