Buist Sheet Metal Company is currently celebrating 60 years in business. Jim Buist runs the company today, a third generation family owned business. The company specializes in architectural sheet metal, custom copper work, standing seam, slate and clay tile roofing. Buist still uses their original wood dies to work on old metal cornices and restoration work.

Buist has been using an ESE Model 100 Panformer since 1989. They have bought three other machines since, but still use the '89 model as their primary panformer. Buist has run double lock panels up to 125 feet long. They have also curved standing seam panels to fit barrel roofs and round dormer roofs. Buist also uses ESE power seamers and hand tools.

Bullard company was established in 1979 by founder Mark Bullard. This came after three years of trade school and an apprenticeship doing restorative work on old homes in southwest Philadelphia.

He brings this hands on craftsmanship and experience to all of his historic restoration and historic duplication jobs.Working with slate, copper, tin, cedar and asphalt, Bullard has been using ESE hand tools in all of their projects since 1985.

Diversified Exteriors, Inc. was started in 1979 by Galen Smoker who still manages the operation. The company specializes in residential reroofing.

Chester County is known for many historical properites where standing seam copper and steel are used as premium roofing materials. Diversified Exteriors has worked on many of these historical houses. Points of interest are the Brandywine Battlefield, Longwood Gardens, Valley Forge, etc.

Diverisified Exteriors is located within 10 miles of the ESE office and manufacturing facility. ESE equipment is used on all of their standing seam projects including the Panformer and Model K9 Power Seamer.

Heirloom Metals is a Pennsylvania based contractor that specializes in standing seam roofing and custom metalwork. Pictured are a few examples of Heirloom's work. Hans frequently uses panels run on a Model 100 Panformer as well as other ESE tools.

Heirloom has been involved in several joint projects as well. The image on the bottom right is a project in which Heirloom assisted Vulcan Supply and Larry Stearns. Vulcan and Larry Stearns are also responsible for the Belvedere being hoisted on the home page.
